Packing Life

33 days left till I leave Australia. Stress? Sad? Happy? Overwhelmed? Much...

Between sorting through a checklist spanning over 3 pages I am finding myself more and more stressed. My wardrobe is the hardest thing i have ever had to do because I have to pack for a tour, unattended luggage and finally a shipping container. Dividing my clothes between the 3 and not to mention seasonal changes I am overwhelmed. Anyone else ever had to pack their lives up and find it to be excruciatingly difficult?

I love my wardrobe (see below) and having to go without special items is causing me some grief.

What should I pack?

This is what I have so far:
• 3 pairs of jeans - Black | Faded | Blue
• 1 parker
• 1 warm cardigan
• 1 swimmers
• 8 Tops
• 1 fitted jacket
• 3 shoes - Ornate Flats | Tennis | Boots
• 1 Toiletries Bag
• 1 Accessories Bag

I have opted to not pack a pair of heels for this part of my trip because I justify the weight and space + I can use my very cute flats for special evening or maybe go shopping!!!

Over Expose Laura Ashley

Today I went to have lunch with my parents @ the Portuguese Chouriço Fiesta, it was fun! Had brunch with one of my friends and even fit in dinner with the hunny buns. I am currently in the process of relocating job/country and am finding it hard to devote time for friends, family, packing plus the occasional break or two. Somewhat in the process of feeling overwhelmed and helpless I have bought a new scarf that I spent my afternoon experimenting with my limited photography skills. Please note over exposure on my photos is for effect only and that some photos didn't come out the way I had wanted. Hope you like my scarf.

Onde Restaurant & Me

Here are my most loved/hated shoes. I love the look of them but they hurt when I walk :( due to their high platform. They are from Peeptoe Shoes and they have a sale on at the moment ;) . I wore them with 'Black Rat' Sass & Bide jeans, vintage shirt and my Zara millitary coat. All assessories were Bvlgary and Tiffany & Co :D

My sexy Scotty took me to dinner @Onde. I ate the chicken :)

Robo-Woman

Let me start by saying that today is interesting because I have a heart monitor on. I will have to wear it for 24 hours and to be honest its the most annoying thing. I think I have somewhat made it look cool :)

Hello. My first post.

Hello.

I am new here... so let me start out by saying welcome to my blog.

I am Ellie & my blog is called “Likes The Cold Side Of The Pillow”. 

I have always enjoyed reading through other fashion blogs and wanted to create one myself!

The name “Likes The Cold Side Of The Pillow” is something my friend Kelly came up with years ago. She originally had written a small bio for my ex-bf’s graphic design portfolio but since then I have used it as my own blogging name. It describes who I am and how I am currently obsessed with fashion blogging (even if I myself don’t fashion blog), photography, travel, the Facebook game Bejeweled and all things nerd/geek. I like to wear my smurfs beanie to music festivals and tend to suffer from extreme anxiety :( I wish I could step into memories but generally get too excited and my mind wonders. LOL

I will try to update the blog as best I can and will post photos of my lookbook, new buys and much more. I hope you enjoy my blog! Stay tuned ;)
